About Us
exousia productions was started in 2008 by the multi-talented Alex Wang, with a view to develop the local arts scene, particularly with the youths.
exousia-productions continues to seek new ways to engage youths in the arts, through which their lives may be positively transformed, potentials realised and destinies fulfilled.
Primary 5 students after the "Experience Theatre!" programme
With a strong youth emphasis, exousia's first project was an experiential drama workshop "Experience Theatre!" for SINDA's (Singapore Indian Development Association) Primary 5 students. It was implemented over half a year at centres all over Singapore.
Constantly seeking to work with passionate youths as well as music and theatre vetrans in Singapore, exousia's first major project will be "Believe - The Musical", restaged at The Republic Polytechnic Cultural Centre Theatre. It endeavours to bring together a dynamic group of youths, and with expertise from a professional production team, bring the story of love, hope and affirmation to the masses.
